Japanese prices can take some getting used to, especially when they use 万 (man), the ten-thousand unit. Japanese Dollar counts every ¥100 as $1 JPD. A ¥1,200 price reads as $12 JPD, and 350万円 (sanbyaku gojūman en) means ¥3,500,000, or $35,000 JPD.
